Cross-platform and open source
.NET is Microsoft's free, open source development platform, and since .NET Core it runs just as well on Linux as on Windows. That is why so many teams now host their .NET workloads on Linux: the same C# codebase and the same tooling, without the licensing overhead.
Most .NET workloads we host are built on ASP.NET Core, whether that is an MVC application, Razor Pages, a Minimal API backend or a Blazor front end backed by Entity Framework Core. In production these run on Kestrel behind a reverse proxy, which is exactly the pattern our platform is designed around.
Version support is worth planning for. .NET 10 is the current Long Term Support release, available since November 2025 and supported until November 2028. .NET 8 reaches end of support on 10 November 2026, so if your application still runs on it, this is the moment to plan the upgrade. We help you test and migrate without downtime.
.NET and TurboStack
Running .NET properly on Linux takes more than installing a runtime. You need a tuned reverse proxy, process management that restarts your application cleanly, working health checks and TLS that simply keeps working. Our TurboStack takes care of all of it.
