• Your data is safe

  The data from your virtual servers is stored on a Storage Area Network (SAN) with double PSU and double RAID controllers. Your information is copied over several disks (in RAID6). Hot swappable disks are ready to take over in case of harddisk failure.

• High uptime garantuee

  In the real world, guaranteeing an uptime of 100% is simply a lie. What we can guarantee is that we possess of an extremely redundant setup and that we can take action in a very short time frame in case of troubles. 

  As an extra insurance for you we have a 99.9% uptime guarantee (Maintenance excluded) which we manage to succeed without problems. In case you would experience more downtime, the complete month will be free of charge and you will get a clear feedback on how this could happen and also we will setup measures to avoid it in the future. In general we can conclude that our uptimes mostly are in the magical 100% range.

• Real CPU's for your machine

  Often VPS providers cap the CPU cycles on the VPS. We never do this. If your VPS has less than 1 GB ram, you get always one full core. From 1-4GB you will have access to 2 cores, in between 4 and 8GB you will have 3 cores and starting from 8GB you will posses 4 cores. On peak moments we can also temporally raise the amount of cores. 

  Because CPU usage is always with peaks and our machines have between 8 and 24 fast CPU cores, we never saw a case where a VPS didn't get the CPU capacity it needs. If this would be likely to happen, we will notice this and act.

• Virtually unlimited disk IO

  Hosted Power doesn't limit the IOps or put any other restrictions on disk access. Our storage is connected to our servers with blazing fast 8 Gigabyte fibrechannel connections. It's our responsibility to make sure there is always enough capacity available.

• No overselling of VPS machines

  Unlike some other VPS providers, Hosted Power uses Xen paravirtualization and we don't share RAM with multiple machines. Thus the memory assigned to your machines is only for your VPS. We also leave about one third of RAM unused on the physical machine to provide failover scenarios. Most servers have at about 20-40 virtual machines.

• A minimum of 7 auto backup snapshots included

  Your linux VPS will take at least 7 automatic backup snapshots in the background. If you or something else messes up the server, you can easily go back in time to fix all problems.

  Optionally you can order extra backup space to make backups at the file level.

• Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time

  All our VPS contracts have a term of 1 month with a 1 week cancel period. Your monthly contract starts on the moment your VPS is put in use.
